Beautiful "bohemian garnet" brooch in the shape of a crescent moon.
Deep, rich garnets set into gilt metal.

Crescent moons are a symbol of the divine feminine and were a popular honeymoon gift from a husband to his new wife in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
