This Gen 3 ECWCS thermal shirt in AR670-1 coyote brown offer ample warmth, comfort and durability as a baselayer to brave the cold weather months. The third generation of the ECWCS is known as the "Extreme Climate Warfighter Clothing System", and is the most recent utilized by the United States Armed Forces. In this radical redesign of the system, there are a total of seven layers that provide environmental protection in temperatures ranging from -60/+40 degrees Fahrenheit. This thermal shirt comprises Level 1.
The thermal shirt is made of tough expedition weight polyester. This level of thermal weight is ideal for low activity in below freezing temperatures like shoveling snow, ice fishing or hunting to give a few examples.
