Fabulous silk velvet hooded cloak or opera coat! It is extremely difficult to photograph black velvet, but this is such a beautiful piece and the pictures really don't do it justice.
The hook is so cute, lined with white faux fur. The coat itself is lined with an off-white muslin and over that is a satiny white acetate. It has a single button closure at the top.
The sleeves are puffed and padded at the shoulders! A very elegant yet wonderfully whimsical piece.

Really lovely condition! There are a few "flattened" places in the velvet and a bit of discoloration in the lining at the shoulders and around the hem, but no major flaws to note.
This piece is clean and free of odors. It should be dry cleaned only if necessary.
