Their GORE-TEX Performance ePE three-layer construction delivers waterproof, windproof, and breathable coverage in harsh conditions. The lightweight and compact build helps reduce bulk while still providing the protection needed for exposed routes. An adjustable waistband with an integrated belt creates a secure fit over layers and during long approaches. Articulated knees support freedom of movement when climbing, touring, or moving across uneven terrain. Hip-to-ankle side zippers provide ventilation and make transitions easier in changing weather. Reinforced lower hems, internal snow guard gaiters with silicone grip strips, adjustable ankle hems, zippered hand pockets, a 28,000 millimeter water column rating, and recycled backing materials make these pants ready for demanding alpine use.
