Their GORE-TEX Performance construction with an ePE membrane provides waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection without relying on PFC treatments. The robust outer fabric helps defend against harsh weather while still supporting all-day movement in the mountains. A loose fit with articulated sleeves allows natural motion when climbing, descending, or layering underneath. Underarm ventilation zippers help release heat during uphill pushes or warmer conditions. The adjustable helmet-compatible hood uses multiple adjustment points to create a secure protective fit. A water-resistant double-slider front zipper, adjustable cuffs and waist, internal snow guard gaiter, multiple storage pockets, a 28,000 millimeter water column rating, and recycled face and backing fabrics make this jacket a strong outer layer for storm days and big tours.
