The new Fischer Speedmax 80 Classic Plus 812 is a lightweight race ski with an Air Core Carbon core for ambitious amateur racers. Innovative Cold Base Bonding technology for optimal wax absorption and grindability provides even more speed. Wax abrasion is minimized thanks to the Classic 812 construction with a long, dynamic wax pocket. To protect the base, a thin layer of wax is applied to the skis which must be removed and brushed off before the first use. Optimized for use in 14°F (-10°C) and warmer.

  • Prewaxed
    • Preparation with basic wax for protection against dirt and oxidation. Powered by VAUHTI. Iron in again before first use, cool down and brush out. Then apply wax (paraffin or liquid wax) to match the snow conditions.
  • Cold Base Bonding
    • A patented process where the base is applied without heat and pressure, preserving the original molecular structure. This results in superior wax absorption, grindability, and base speed.
