The Nubuck leather upper, bolstered by a Gore-Tex membrane, acts as a fortress against unpredictable alpine weather, while the Vibram Megagrip outsole bites into slick granite and loose trail duff with relentless traction. An ingenious overlapping tongue design wraps snugly around the instep, preventing pressure points during heavy-pack ascents and long, technical descents.
