This winter balaclava by Under Armour featuring Coldgear Infrared (CGI) technology serves as an excellent cold weather baselayer under a hat or hood, or simply worn by itself for full facial protection in frigid temperatures. A brushed fleece construction delivers super soft, next-to-skin comfort, while a ColdGear Infrared thermoconductive coating works to absorb and trap body heat for substantial warmth without the bulk. This is supplemented by UA Storm breathable water-resistance that keeps your head dry against light rain and snow. The face mask may either be worn to provide full protection to the entire face and head, or pulled down and worn as a neck gaiter in milder conditions where complete protection is not needed.
